Manual Settings for Connecting to Biola’s Secure Wireless Network (BiolaSECURE.AC)

This configuration process has been automated for most computers and mobile devices through the XpressConnect wizard. However, if you need or want to use a manual procedure, the following information will be helpful.

These settings are required for a successful connection to the BiolaSECURE.AC wireless network.

Create a new 802.1x connection profile with the following configuration.

SSID name of BiolaSECURE.AC (case sensitive)
Authentication or Security type WPA2 Enterprise
AES encryption
EAP type PEAP/MSCHAPv2
Username will be your NetID
Password will be your Portal/NetID password
Enable server certificate validation (optional)
- Server name is macradiator.biola.edu
- Trust Verisign Root Certificate Authorities
