Students (DigitalLocker)

Connecting from On-Campus

Before you login to DigitalLocker, you need to be connected by an ethernet connection or through BiolaSECURE.AC, not BiolaGUEST.

Mac OS 10.2 or higher

  • Click on the desktop
  • Click on the “Go” Menu at the top and select “Connect to Server”
  • Type in “digitallocker.biola.edu” in the Server Address field (or some equivalent)
  • Enter your NetID and Portal password
  • There are several share-points available. Select the one with your NetID.

Windows - option 1

  • Open Internet Explorer
  • Type \\digitallocker.biola.edu\yourNetID in the Address field, for example \\digitallocker.biola.edu\johns17
  • When prompted enter your NetID and Portal password

Windows - option 2

  • Double-Click on “My Computer”
  • Select the “Tools” menu and click on “Map Network Drive”
  • Type \\digitallocker.biola.edu\yourNetID in the folder field
  • Uncheck the “Reconnect at login” box
  • Click on “different user name”
  • In the pop-up window, enter your NetID and Portal password
  • Click “OK” to close the pop-up window
  • Click on “Finish”

Connecting from Off-Campus

Mac - using Secure File Transfer Protocol (SFTP) client CyberDuck or Fugu

  • Click on “New Connection”
  • Select SFTP as the transfer protocol
  • Enter “digitallocker.biola.edu” for the Server
  • Enter your NetID in the Username field
  • Enter your Portal password
  • Click on “Connect” Select “Allow” if prompted

Windows - using Secure File Transfer Protocol (SFTP) client FileZilla or CoreFTP.

  • Enter sftp://digitallocker.biola.edu in the Address field
  • Enter your NetID in the User field
  • Enter your Portal password in the Password field
  • Click on Quick connect
  • Click yes in the “store key in cache” pop-up window
