Walk-up
For walk-up support, we are physically located in the lower floor of Metzger Hall, on Biola’s La Mirada campus. We are in the lower east wing, next to the Welch Computer Lab. Click here for maps and directions.
Phone
Our phone number is 562-903-4740 (extension 4740 on-campus). We are available for phone calls during our regular hours (below), and check messages throughout the day.
Our email address is it.helpdesk@biola.edu (“IT Helpdesk” on BUBBS). Please note that email to this address from a Biola email account will automatically generate a Help Ticket in our ticketing system. Email from non-Biola accounts will be bounced.
Live Chat
Live Chat is a convenient way to speak with an IT Helpdesk representative without having to leave your desk or pick up your phone. Simply click the “Live Chat” link at the top of every IT page to sign in and ask your question, and you’ll be chatting with someone from IT within a few seconds. Live chat is available Monday-Friday during our regular hours.
Web-based Ticketing
We also use a web-based ticketing system called the Web Help Desk. Employees and students can login to whd.biola.edu to create Help Tickets and check on their status.
Hours
During our regular hours, full support is available via phone, email, and walk-up. Limited support is available via email and walk-up during our extended hours.
