1. Get Connected to the network
To begin, connect to Biola’s network using the BiolaSECURE.AC. Select the Setup BiolaSECURE.AC button on the Network page.
- From August 19 - 26, during Biola Opening Weekend, you will find a link to the network setup wizard by first selecting the Opening Weekend network, then opening a web browser.
- After August 26 select the BiolaGUEST network and open a web browser. Go to IT’s website at, http://offices1.biola.edu/it/services/network/wireless/ and select the “Set up BiolaSECURE.AC” button.
2. Change your Blackboard Password
- Go to https://biola.blackboard.com
- To sign in use your Biola ID number as your Username (e.g. 12345678).
- Your initial password is the first two letters of your last name in lowercase plus the last four digits of your phone number (or last four digits of your ID number if we don’t have your phone number). For example, John Doe’s password might be do5555
- After you have logged into Blackboard change your password by selecting “Personal Information” then “Change Password.”
3. Living on campus? Register devices that don’t have a web browser.
Devices that do not have web browsers (i.e. Xbox, Wiis, IP phones, Blu-ray players, etc.) must be registered with Information Technology before they can have access to Biola’s network. Register your device on the Device Registration page.
4. Check your email
