Salary Structure and Scale Section 8.31 Dept: Provost's Office Revised: October 3rd, 2012

Faculty appointments, with designated salaries, are made by February 1 of each year for the following academic year.

Salary for all teaching faculty are for 9, 10 or 11 months of service, paid semi-monthly over a twelve-month period beginning August 16 and concluding August 15 or beginning September 1 and concluding August 31. If the regular payday falls on a Saturday effort is made to distribute the checks on Friday. Checks are issued through the departmental secretaries or, by arrangement, directly to the employee's bank account. If a faculty member will be out of the area (vacation, school business, emergency, etc.) over a scheduled payday, a pay advance, limited to one pay period, may be requested.
