Contact UsThe Biola Youth tuition discount is for all Biola University employees and applies to academic classes that are offered through Star Academics, a supplementary education program for junior high and high school home schooled students. Biola employees with dependents enrolled in the program are eligible.
The tuition discount only covers a percentage of the academic class tuition. It does not include any other fees associated with an academic class including late, change, drop, non-participation, and Writing Lab fees; curriculum; additional class materials or supplies; and field trip expenses.
The tuition discount applied each semester for each enrolled dependent of part-time, full-time, temporary, or regular employees, is as follows:
Discount for Temporary Employees Including Adjunct Faculty
The discount for temporary employees is equal to the amount of the class tuition if the employee’s dependent is enrolled in a class the employee is teaching.
Discount Options for Regular Employees
The discount for regular employees is equal to the amount of the class tuition if the employee’s dependent is enrolled in a class the employee is teaching, or see chart below for the other option.

**Each Torrey Academy core class (The Inklings, Foundations of American Thought, and Faith of Our Fathers) is considered 2 classes.
Note: The tuition discount does not apply to summer programs, special activities and events, or seminars offered through Star Academics, Activities, and Athletics.
